The Casa program offered by Bright Beginnings Montessori is designed for children who are 3 - 5 years old. In this program, children learn by doing.
The Casa classroom offers your child 5 areas of study: Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, and Cultural Studies.
Montessori materials introduced in the Casa classroom let children explore the world through motion, observation and engagement with peers. This classroom is full of beautiful objects, designed to fit the children’s age group.
Classroom materials usually include activities for engaging in practical skills such as pouring and spooning, washing up, scrubbing, and sweeping. As children grow, the classroom materials grow with them to explore the curriculum in more depth.
The Montessori Method encourages self-directed learning that promotes self-confidence, independent thought and action, and critical thinking; while also fostering the child’s social-emotional and intellectual growth. Teachers at Bright Beginnings Montessori guide students though the curriculum - assisting them in mastering new challenges and letting them explore what they have learned in unique ways.
Please note that children must be fully potty trained to be in the Casa program.
Staff to Student Ratio = 1:8
